Time flies! We ended our third complete fiscal year on 6/30/2025.

We came into existence on October 14, 2021 when the State of Michigan approved our Articles of Incorporation and the Internal Revenue Service assigned us an Employer Identifcation Number. On January 26, 2022, the Internal Revenue Service approved The Friends as a public charity exempt under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3), meaning donations made to The Friends are tax-deductible. So far, the Friends have donated almost $24,000 to and for the library.
